Volodymyr Lytvyn, Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, signed the Tax Code with consideration for the motions of the President of Ukraine, and referred the document to the Head of State.
V.Lytvyn made this statement in the interview to Rada television channel.
He stressed that the Code preserved the balance between the interests of the state and the business. According to the Head of the Parliament, the Central Judicial Office of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Secretariate had worked upon the document till 6 a.m. "to redraft the Law due to adoption of fifty amendments."
"Now, the elucidative work on application of the Code should be carried out instead of criticizing the document," he stated, laying emphasis on the implementation of the Code.
The Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine believes that it is too early to claim the end of "the Tax Code epic." It is necessary to analyze application of the Law and the scope for improvements.
V.Lytvyn projects that if the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine presents the draft State Budge for 2011 on 14 December, The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine may adopt it in the first reading on 16-17 December.
The Head of the Parliament emphasized that the Parliament shall adopt the budget by 24 December.
